Nexa Lighthouse is investing in proven innovations across Asia and the Pacific that help local health actors translate climate-related health risk signals into timely action. These innovations should focus on reducing health risks associated with mosquito-borne infections, extreme heat and poor air quality.
Benefits of Grand Challenges Canada - Nexa Lighthouse Funding Program
- Transition to Scale investment amounts will range between approximately $250,000 – $2,000,000 USD per innovation at the Nexa Lighthouse partners’ discretion, depending on the maturity of the innovation.
Grand Challenges Canada - Nexa Lighthouse Funding Program Requirements
- Applicant organizations can be incorporated or equivalent in any country but must implement in eligible countries in Asia and the Pacific.
- Organizations that are incorporated or equivalent (e.g. companies, social enterprises, non-governmental organizations, governmental organizations, non-profit, for-profit, research/academic institutions).
- However, individuals, sole proprietorships, unincorporated trusts, and partnerships are not eligible to apply.
Application Date and Process
- Applications must be submitted via Grand Challenges Canada’s online portal (Fluxx). They will not accept applications submitted via any other channel.
