The YxY Weavership Fellowship is a 10-month capacity-building program designed for youth who act as community organizers and changemakers. Participants will engage in a 4- —to 6-month Residency, during which they will apply their weaving skills at the local or global level. This initiative is organized in partnership with Weaving Lab, a globally recognized community of practice supporting education transformation.
Through this fellowship, participants will build self-awareness, develop intergenerational and intercultural relationships, and mobilize communities to create systemic change. By the end of the program, fellows will have a deep understanding of weaving as a tool for social transformation.
