About AICEF Overseas Travel Grant Program
The Overseas Travel Grant Program supports Indonesian PhD students studying at accredited universities in the United States by providing travel funding for dissertation research conducted in Indonesia. The programme offers financial assistance to help doctoral students complete field research while strengthening academic and professional connections with Indonesia.

AICEF Overseas Travel Grant Program Requirements
- Indonesian citizens and not permanent residents of the US
- Currently enrolled in a doctoral program in the United States
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to returning to Indonesia upon completion of the post-doctoral program
- Have preparation in, and a demonstrated commitment to their chosen field of study
- Demonstrate that they can realistically accomplish the research in Indonesia

- Letter of recommendation from faculty advisor
- Copy of front page of passport
- Copy of passport visa (J1 or F1)
- Enrollment verification certifying that you are in good academic standing in your university
- Have an approved dissertation proposal
- All or most requirements for the PhD degree except the dissertation have been completed
