As a Youth Delegate, you will:

• Participate in national preparation meetings before the forums.

• Engage in leadership workshops (online and in-person).

• Represent Kenyan youth perspectives in global decision-making.

• Share insights locally and mentor the next Youth Delegate in 2027.

Amnesty International Kenya Youth Delegate for the Global Assembly Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be 22 years old or below
• Be a registered member of Amnesty International Kenya.
• Be an active member of an Amnesty Circle of Conscience
• Be available for all training and preparation sessions from January–July 2026.
• Commit to serving for two years (2026 and 2027).
• Have a strong interest in human rights, leadership, governance, and youth advocacy.
• Be able to communicate clearly, work in teams, and represent diverse youth perspectives.
• Demonstrate values aligned with Amnesty International: courage, integrity, solidarity, accountability, and inclusion.

Application Date and Process

Submit the following:

• A short motivation statement (max 500 words) explaining why you want to be the Youth Delegate.
• A brief CV (max 2 pages).
• Confirmation of your COC membership through a recommendation by the COC chairperson
