The Community Project Grant is designed to support local organisations in delivering projects that benefit residents across the Ashburton District.The program recognises the important role that non-profit groups and community organisations play in strengthening communities and improving social wellbeing. Through this grant, the Ashburton District Council partners with local organisations to help implement projects that enhance community life.
Maximum Grant: $5,000 per project
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a non-profit organisation or community group
Be based in the Ashburton District
Organise projects located within the district boundaries
Ensure the project is available to the wider community
National organisations may apply through their local branch in the district.
The following applicants are not eligible:
Individuals
Schools
Applicants must ensure they meet eligibility criteria before submitting their applications.
