The Timor-Leste Australia Awards are designed to equip emerging leaders from Tuvalu with the skills, networks, and experience needed to contribute to sustainable development and regional cooperation. Applicants must:
Be citizens of Tuvalu
Meet academic and professional requirements for the chosen scholarship stream
Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to addressing development challenges
Be prepared to commence studies in 2027 (deferrals may lead to award withdrawal)
Priority is given to:
Women, people with disabilities, and other marginalized groups
Applicants demonstrating potential to strengthen education, health, and public service sectors
