The Timor-Leste Australia Awards are designed to equip emerging leaders from Tuvalu with the skills, networks, and experience needed to contribute to sustainable development and regional cooperation. Scholarships foster knowledge exchange, long-term partnerships, and capacity-building across key priority sectors.

Applicants must:
Be citizens of Tuvalu
Meet academic and professional requirements for the chosen scholarship stream
Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to addressing development challenges
Be prepared to commence studies in 2027 (deferrals may lead to award withdrawal)
Priority is given to:
Women, people with disabilities, and other marginalized groups
Applicants demonstrating potential to strengthen education, health, and public service sectors
Prepare Documentation: Academic transcripts, professional references, and identification documents

Assessment: Applications are evaluated on professional qualities, academic competence, leadership potential, and capacity to address development challenges
