Whether you are a senior or early-career scientist, the ASM Ambassadors program offers you a platform to become a leader in advancing the microbial sciences. ASM Country Ambassadors and ASM Young Ambassadors span 125 countries and connect with ASM members around the globe. They respond to the needs of their local scientific communities, build relationships with key institutions and facilitate partnerships.

A Ph.D., or equivalent terminal degree in a microbiology-related field, or a graduate degree and 10 years post-academic experience.
At least 3 microbiology-related papers in last 5 years.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
At least 5 hours per month to commit to ambassador activities.
