The D-Prize 2026 for Early-stage Entrepreneurs is a global seed funding program that supports early-stage entrepreneurs building ventures to distribute proven, evidence-based solutions to reduce poverty. The program offers up to $20,000 in funding, with an average of around $16,000, to help founders launch scalable social impact organizations. The focus is on the implementation and distribution of existing solutions rather than developing new or untested products.
New organizations only. Most awardees are first-time entrepreneurs who have not yet launched or raised outside funding.
We especially encourage applicants from low- and middle-income countries.
Orgs with more than 18 months of full-time operations or more than $30,000 USD raised typically not supported.
Existing organizations considered only if your core focus is distributing an existing, evidence-based poverty intervention.
