The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) is launching the twelfth edition of the Francophonie Prize for Young Researchers. This award is open every two years and covers the following two disciplinary fields: Science and Technology and Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Francophonie Prize for Young Researchers aims to recognize the merit and quality of the research work of four French-speaking researchers while taking into account the diversity of the French-speaking academic community, particularly that of developing countries. This prize recognizes researchers who have distinguished themselves in their field and have achieved scientific recognition for the significant advances they have made.
Award Ceremony
The announcement and presentation of the 2025 Young Researchers Prize will take place during the 9th GeneralAssembly and the 5th World Week of Scientific Francophonie (SMFS) to be held in Dakar (Senegal) from November 3 to 7, 2025.
The winners will receive an official certification and a monetary prize of €5,000 (five thousand euros) each, to encourage them to continue their activities.
