The British Institute of Persian Studies is inviting applications for its BIPS Research Fellowship Grant, offering researchers the opportunity to undertake a larger project than those supported by the Research or Research Assistant Grants.
Open to all researchers, with strong encouragement for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) (within 10 years of PhD completion)
Applicants must be affiliated with a UK Higher Education Institution or Museum
Must include a letter from the host institution confirming fund management
Detailed research project description and expected outputs (e.g., articles, monographs)
Dissemination plans (including BIPS workshops/webinars)
Budget breakdown for all activities
CVs of all funded personnel
Workshop plans with indicative participant list
Two academic references on institutional letterhead or via official email
Risk assessment for any fieldwork
If applying as a Visiting Scholar, include a mentor’s letter from the host institution
