About School Enterprise Challenge

The School Enterprise Challenge is a free, international education programme that supports teachers and student teams to create and run sustainable school businesses.Teachers sign up to access step-by-step guidance and ready-to-use materials that bring entrepreneurship to life in the classroom. Students gain hands-on business experience and build essential 21st-century skills - while schools generate real income to support their community or fund future projects.

Benefits of School Enterprise Challenge

  • As part of your participation in the School Enterprise Challenge, you will be able to participate in competitions throughout the year. These range from regular mini-competitions to annual competitions such as Best Business Idea, Best Business Plan, and Best Primary/Secondary School Business.
  • They have various awards and prizes for competition winners, which include features and cash prizes, which you can use to reinvest in your business and school.

School Enterprise Challenge Requirements

  • The programme is open to all schools (pre‑primary, primary, secondary and technical/vocational colleges) from any country.
  • Universities are not eligible.
  • A teacher or headteacher registers the school and can create one or more student business teams.
