About Veneto Region Scholarships of Padua University
Opportunity Details
As part of the Annual Plan for the implementation of the Right to University Education of the Veneto Region for the 2024/25 academic year, the University of Padua issues the call for applications for the awarding of scholarships for capable and deserving students without financial means. The scholarship is intended to help students cover their living expenses for a minimum of ten months during each academic year.
Benefits of Veneto Region Scholarships of Padua University
- Amount of scholarship: This amount includes tuition fee exemption, subsistence allowance, and free or discounted student services, such as accommodation, meals at university canteens, and more. The scholarship amount differs according to the student’s family income and other conditions specified in the Call.
- Payment Dates: First-year enrolled students will receive the scholarship amount in two installments. The first installment will be paid by the end of December 2025, and the second installment will be paid by the end of the month following the completion of 20 CFU by August 10, 2026.
Students enrolled in subsequent years to the first might receive the amount in one installment by the end of December 2025.
- Scholarships Duration: Scholarships are available for one academic year, provided that the student meets certain conditions, including educational achievements, number of credits, etc. The request is extendable every academic year.
Veneto Region Scholarships of Padua University Requirements
- Applicants must demonstrate a low family income by providing an equivalent economic status index (ISEE)
- They should have received an admission letter from one of the University of Padua degree courses or D. courses.
- Comply with the Italian visa conditions to enter the country
- Do not receive a scholarship or grant from any other national or international organization
- Meet all the academic, merit, and other additional requirements of the Call
- International students enrolled in the first year for the first time in 2025/26 are eligible based on submitting their ISEE/ISEE Parificato by 30 November 2025.
- Applicants who already hold a degree from an Italian university or abroad of the same or higher study level are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Candidates who have received the scholarship in a previous course of study at the same level as the currently enrolled course and have not repaid the enjoyed benefit are not eligible.
Application Date and Process
To be eligible for the scholarship, complete all the following steps by 30 September 2025:
- Submit and confirm your Application for Benefits in Uniweb (including mid-year registrants).
- Obtain the ISEE Parificato certificate (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) for university education benefits.
- Enroll for the 2025/26 academic year by paying the first fee installment (first-year students must complete enrollment by the date specified in the admission call).
- HOW TO APPLY: TERMS AND DEADLINES
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must complete all the following steps BY 30 SEPTEMBER 2025:
A. fill in and confirm the APPLICATION for BENEFITS in Uniweb (also for students who register during the year);
B. request the issuance of the ISEE Parificato certificate (Indicatore della Situazione Economica Equivalente, Equivalent
Economic Situation Indicator) for the benefits related to the right to university education (also for students who register during the year);
C. complete the enrolment for the academic year 2025/26 by paying the first instalment of the fee (if enrolled in the first year, the enrolment must be completed by the date specified in the call for admission).
