Through its Call for Micro-Initiatives (CMI) and its Call for Projects in the Mediterranean Islands (CPMI), BeMed provides financial support to stakeholders in the field over a period of one to two years.
Maximum grant: €15,000
Covers up to 70% of the total project cost
Stakeholders: NGOs, local authorities, municipalities, small companies (<20 employees), scientific institutions
Countries: Includes 20 Mediterranean nations, with priority given to 8 (e.g., Albania, Egypt, Morocco)
Themes: Awareness, advocacy, data collection, stakeholder mobilization, plastic alternatives, waste management
