About Micro Initiatives Grant Program

Through its Call for Micro-Initiatives (CMI) and its Call for Projects in the Mediterranean Islands (CPMI), BeMed provides financial support to stakeholders in the field over a period of one to two years.

Benefits of Micro Initiatives Grant Program

• Maximum grant: €15,000

• Covers up to 70% of the total project cost

Micro Initiatives Grant Program Requirements

• Stakeholders: NGOs, local authorities, municipalities, small companies (<20 employees), scientific institutions

• Countries: Includes 20 Mediterranean nations, with priority given to 8 (e.g., Albania, Egypt, Morocco)

• Themes: Awareness, advocacy, data collection, stakeholder mobilization, plastic alternatives, waste management

Application Date and Process

• Understand: Download and review the call rules and eligibility criteria

• Define & Create: Download the application form and develop your project

• Apply: Submit via email before the deadline

• Results: Selected projects announced a few months after the call closes
