To mark International Youth Day, Udaan Youth Club extends a global invitation: write a message of hope, belief, and encouragement to the youth across the world.

The “Dear Youth of the World” Global Postcard Writing Contest 2025 is a global initiative organized on the occasion of International Youth Day, calling upon individuals across all regions and walks of life to contribute to a shared dialogue on youth, peace, and progress. In line with the spirit of intergenerational solidarity and inclusive participation, this campaign seeks to amplify messages of encouragement and commitment to young people everywhere—those who are shaping the present and will steward the future of our communities, institutions, and planet.
The contest invites participants to compose a short postcard message, beginning with the phrase “Dear Youth of the World,” and directed to the young citizens of the globe. Participants are encouraged to reflect upon the challenges and opportunities youth face today, and to offer insights drawn from personal, professional, or civic life—messages that speak to resilience, creativity, justice, and shared humanity. In doing so, the initiative fosters a global space for mutual understanding, cultural dialogue, and mentorship through the power of written word.
Organized by Udaan Youth Club, an award-winning youth-led organization affiliated with MYBharat, the contest builds upon the success of last year’s “Dear Mother Nature” campaign. It seeks to mobilize voices across generations, professions, and geographies, uniting artists, educators, healthcare professionals, scientists, civil servants, social workers, entrepreneurs, and everyday citizens who believe in the power of youth to lead positive transformation.
This campaign aligns with the global objectives of youth empowerment, civic engagement, and intercultural learning. Every message submitted will be transformed into a visually engaging digital postcard and disseminated through public platforms. Through this, the contest not only recognizes individual contributions but also facilitates a shared archive of intergenerational wisdom, hope, and solidarity—one that can inspire and support youth across the world.
