- The 2025 winner will receive the grant with prize money of €8,000 to produce her project.
Canon Female Photoiournalist Grant Requirements
- Open to female professional photojournalists;
- Must have completed at least one photo-reportage (published or not);
- No nationality restrictions;
- Must be able to communicate in French and/or English;
- The grant is awarded to individuals only.
Application Date and Process
Applicants must submit a complete, anonymous dossier including:
- Signed application form
- Copy of ID or passport
- Affidavit of professional status
- Curriculum vitae
- Anonymous project description (max 1 page)
- Project budget, including any co-financing details (must be pre-approved by Canon and Images Evidence)
- Photo-reportage of 10-20 images in jpg format:
- Max 3 MB per image
- Captions embedded in File Info (IPTC)
- No photographer name or copyright info
The application dossier must be sent no later than May 21, 2025 and must be sent without acknowledgement of receipt to the following FTP:
