Applications are open for the Canon Video Grant 2025 for Short Film Documentary. Canon together with the International Festival of Photojournalism Visa pour l'Image-Perpignan, are pleased to be presenting the sixth Canon Video Grant for a short film documentary.
The 2025 award winner will use the funding to work on her/his project. In September 2025, the project will be presented as a preliminary teaser, and the final version of the video report will be screened at the 2026 festival in Perpignan. This year, they will be happy to present the final project of Alan Lau (2024 winner) "The Gordian Knot" on the slaughter of buffaloes in Nepal.
