About Community Initiatives Fund - Community Grant Program

The Community Initiatives Fund (CIF) Community Grant Program provides financial support for community-based programs and services that improve the wellbeing of individuals, families, children, youth, and nonprofit organizations across Saskatchewan. The program funds initiatives that strengthen child and youth development, promote community wellbeing, and build the capacity of nonprofit organizations through leadership and skills development.

Benefits of Community Initiatives Fund - Community Grant Program

Funding available:

• Up to $35,000 for local programs benefiting residents of a single community or region
• Up to $50,000 for provincial programs delivered across two or more regions or involving participants from across Saskatchewan

Community Initiatives Fund - Community Grant Program Requirements

The Community Grant Program supports organizations delivering programs that benefit Saskatchewan residents.

Eligible applicants include organizations that:

• Deliver community-based programs and services
• Support individuals, families, children, youth, or nonprofit communities
• Demonstrate community benefit and positive social impact
• Have the capacity to manage grant funding and complete proposed activities
