The International Engagement Fund supports Australian artists and creative workers to undertake reciprocal international exchange activities with confirmed international partners.The types of reciprocal exchange activities supported through this fund include: creative collaboration and development; cultural exchange and knowledge sharing; labs and practice-exchange models.
Funding Range: $5,000 to $30,000
Eligible applicants include:
Australian artists and creative workers (excluding those working in contemporary music).
Individuals, groups, and organizations (including small businesses).
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
International organizations are eligible if the project directly benefits Australian artists, creative workers, or Australian audiences.
Ineligible applicants:
Artists or organizations that have already applied for this fund or the Arts Projects grant categories for the same activity.
Those with outstanding debts or overdue grant reports with Creative Australia.
Organizations receiving investment through the National Performing Arts Partnership Framework or those working with such organizations.
Contemporary music artists are not eligible.
