The Creative Wicklow Innovation Award represents the highest tier of community creative funding in County Wicklow. Unlike smaller grants, this award is specifically designed to support ambitious, large-scale projects that demonstrate a profound connection between local identity and the five pillars of the national Creative Ireland Programme.
Grants up to €10,000 will be allocated per project to successful candidates.
The award emphasizes structured partnerships and community-anchored projects.
Eligible Entities:
Non-Profit Organizations: Registered charities and social enterprises.
Community Groups: Local residents’ associations, Tidy Towns, or interest-based societies.
Cultural Venues: Local theaters, galleries, or heritage centers.
Societies: Groups dedicated to history, biodiversity, or the arts.
Individual Applicants:
Individuals cannot apply as solo entities.
Application is mandatory via partnership with an eligible local community or cultural group.
Financial Note: All funds are paid to the partner organization, which acts as the fiscal host.
