About Devconnect ARG Scholars Program

Opportunity Details

They are excited to announce the Devconnect Scholars Program, as part of Devconnect ARG 2025! The Scholars Program will welcome 100 leaders who are expanding Ethereum's reach by connecting it to new communities, industries, and ideas. Scholars will co-learn and co-create, building bridges between Ethereum and other worlds. The 2025 cohort will include five categories: (1) Ethereum Community Organizers, (2) Legal & Public Sector Professionals, (3) Journalists, (4) Artists, and (5) Developers & Other Builders of any kind..

They are selecting 100 Scholars across five categories, and candidates may apply to one or more categories:

  • Ethereum community organizers:

-This category will bring together a diverse group of existing and potential future Ethereum contributors. We welcome the following to apply:

    - Ethereum community leaders and core contributors: This track focuses on people who are contributing to regional grassroots Ethereum communities

    - Community leaders in adjacent fields: Including cryptography, open source, broader developer communities, etc.

  • Legal professionals & public sector professionals: This category is designed to cultivate a new generation of legal professionals who are aligned with the values of the Ethereum ecosystem and who understand the importance of open source work for the betterment of the Ethereum public commons. The program offers community engagement, specialised legal sessions, and mentorship from the Ethereum Foundation’s legal team. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the technologies and law surrounding Ethereum and will be empowered to contribute meaningfully to its ecosystem.

  • Journalist:This category calls for journalists who are curious to explore Ethereum - its values, applications, and community. As part of the program, journalist Scholars will learn from experts and gain hands-on experience using Ethereum.

  • Artists:  This "Infinite Garden Artist Cohort" brings together artists working across disciplines to explore Ethereum’s culture, values, and the Infinite Garden philosophy through their creative work. Through learning sessions, studio practice, critique, and play, participants will engage deeply and expand this vision of the Infinite Garden—where growth emerges from openness and connection—the soul of the Ethereum. This is like an art school that pushes new perspectives through learnings and experimentations. The cohort will culminate in an exhibition and the beginning of an ongoing alumni community.

  • Developers & Other Builders of Any Kind: This category is looking for a diverse, curious, and passionate group of individuals from all backgrounds; whether you're a developer, researcher, scientist, writer, educator, creative, entrepreneur, or non-profit leader. You don’t need to be building directly on Ethereum to apply. If you’re exploring meaningful ideas, creating impact in your field, or working at the intersection of technology and society such as financial inclusion, climate action, digital rights, public goods, decentralized science, governance, education, open source, or public health—we want to hear from you.
