The EU Code Week Grants for Grassroots programme is a new initiative designed to foster digital innovation and coding education throughout Europe. For more information read our recent blog post, EU Code Week Grants for Grassroots: Supporting Digital Innovation Across Europe. Please find below a call for proposals from our Code4Europe consortium partner C.Y.R.I.C , which is open to the Code Week community in Cyprus.
Funding range: €500 to €2,000 per project
Allocation criteria: Based on proposal clarity, feasibility, sustainability, educational impact, and alignment with European Code Week objectives
Eligible applicants must:
Operate legally and reside in the Republic of Cyprus
Be part of organised groups such as:
Public or private schools of any level
Libraries and similar institutional bodies
Non-governmental organisations (NGOs)
Private organisations and programming clubs
Associations specialised in programming and computational thinking
Prepare a single PDF file (max 10MB) containing all required documents
Submit via email with the subject line: “CodeWeek Grant 2026”
Ensure the application includes all components listed above
