About Fonds de recherche du Québec - Master's Research Scholarship for Individuals
The Master’s Research Scholarship is designed to support individuals with a professional degree in human health and resident physicians in Québec who want to pursue or return to graduate-level research studies.

- Maximum total (up to 6 terms): $50,048 – $78,646.
- Additional supplement: Up to $1,500 per year for studies outside Québec, awarded to the top 10 applicants per sector
Fonds de recherche du Québec - Master's Research Scholarship for Individuals Requirements
- Must hold or expect to obtain a professional degree in human health.
- Membership in a Québec professional order/association required.
- Open to resident physicians recognized by the Collège des médecins du Québec.
- Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Enrollment limit: no more than 3 full-time terms before May 1, 2027.
- New students must begin by Winter 2028 term.
- Part-time and professional master’s programs are not eligible
