The Fordham-NYPL Research Fellowships in Jewish Studies is a joint fellowship program between Fordham University’s Jewish Studies Program and The New York Public Library (NYPL). The program supports scholars from outside New York City who want to conduct on-site research at NYPL, especially in the Dorot Jewish Division.
Short-term fellowship:
$1,250 per week
Duration: 2–4 weeks
Residency between Sept 2026 – May 2027
Mid-term fellowship:
$25,000 stipend
Duration: Spring semester (Jan–May 2027)
Long-term fellowship:
$60,000 stipend
Duration: Academic year (Sept 2025 – May 2026)
