The award celebrates excellence in local journalism — stories that reflect community realities, shape public understanding, and connect local perspectives to broader national and global events.

KAS Media Africa Local Journalism Award Requirements

Work must have been published in 2025.
Submissions can be in English or French.
Each entry should include a brief description of the story’s background, the platform where it was published, and audience response.
