Lloyd’s of London Foundation Grant Programme Requirements

If you’re focusing on practical outcomes in risk management and climate adaptation, they want to hear from you. Funding is available to independent researchers, academics, research institutions, public sector organisations, registered charities, and (re)insurance industry participants.

Grant requirements

Grantees will submit a comprehensive report 12 months post-grant, detailing achievements, challenges, and financial spend. Presentations to the Lloyd’s of London Foundation may also be requested.

Projects will not be considered if they have:

An immediate commercial outcome
No clear research methodology
Lack of academic excellence
No engagement with non-academic stakeholders

Application Date and Process

Successful proposals must include a detailed communications plan, recognising the Lloyd’s of London Foundation as the funder and promoting the research collaboratively.
