The Alberta Education Grants 2026 programme provides financial support for students entering their first year of post-secondary education.
The initiative is designed to improve access to higher education by assisting students who may face financial challenges when transitioning from secondary school to college, university, or other recognized post-secondary institutions.
The programme provides:
Eligibility Criteria
Be a high school graduate, AND
Be entering first year of studies at a designated Alberta post-secondary institution AND
Demonstrate — through your answers to the questions in our application — entrepreneurial ambition.

Letter of acceptance from a designated Alberta post-secondary institution
Two letters of recommendation
