About NSW Government Aboriginal Community-Led Cancer Research Grant

The initiative provides seed funding to support early-stage research planning, scoping activities, and culturally appropriate consultation, ensuring that Aboriginal voices guide research priorities and outcomes.

• Maximum per application: $100,000

NSW Government Aboriginal Community-Led Cancer Research Grant Requirements

Eligible applicants include:

• Aboriginal Medical Services
• Aboriginal Health Services
• Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations

These organisations must be directly connected to and trusted by Aboriginal communities, ensuring that the grant benefits communities most impacted by cancer-related issues.

Application Date and Process

• Submit applications to [email protected] along with the following:
  • Completed application form
  • Organisation endorsement letter (must be submitted using the Cancer Institute’s template)
  • Other supporting documents (if applicable - e.g. letter of partnership, evidence of cash and/or in-kind support)
