The Emerging Talents Concept Grant is a specialized funding initiative designed to bridge the gap between an initial idea and a functional prototype. Managed by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council, this grant fosters innovation in the cultural sector by supporting the preparatory phases of creative projects.
Financial Award: Up to CHF 10,000 per project.
Coaching: Potential access to individual professional coaching measures.
Individual Artists: Must be Swiss citizens or permanent residents actively involved in the Swiss cultural scene.
Independent Groups/Institutions: Must be based and publicly active in Switzerland.
Emerging Talents: Applicants must provide documented proof of their status as “Emerging Talent.”
Prepare Documentation: All documents must be in English.
Draft the Concept: A maximum of 5 A4 pages. This must include:
Detailed project description.
Visualizations (sketches or images).
Development plan and project vision.
Assemble the Portfolio: Include participant resumes and evidence of “Emerging Talent” status.
Create a Detailed Budget: This must explicitly include the applicant’s own labor input.
Submit via Portal: Ensure submission before the deadlines (March 1 or September 1).
