The prospective nominated engineers should meet these eligibility criteria:

• The QEPrize is an international competition that is available to people of all nationalities.
• Nominations and recommendations from all across the world are welcome.
• The only restrictions are self-nomination, and posthumous nomination is not permitted.

Judging Criteria

The judges will use these criteria to determine who will receive the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering.

• How has this innovation benefited humanity on a global scale?
• Is there anyone else who can claim to have played a vital role in this evolution?
