Opportunity Details
START (ex-Summer Student Programme) is an onsite JINR student programme intended for students under 30 from all over the world who specialise in science, engineering, and IT, starting from their 4 year of undergraduate studies up to the 1st year of PhD.
Our main goal is to assist JINR laboratories in finding young talented specialists to be further employed at JINR.
Benefits of Russia JINR Winter Student Program
- It is a fully funded exchange program and doesn’t require any application fee.
- It will cover tickets from your home country to Dubna and vice versa. Visa and health insurance expenses will also be reimbursed by JINR. Accommodation will also be paid by JINR. Moreover, participants will get a daily allowance of 2000 roubles per day.

Russia JINR Winter Student Program Requirements
- Open to students from all over the world.
- Students who are currently enrolled in the 4th year of their undergraduate degree, a master’s degree student, or a 1st year of PhD are eligible to apply for the winter exchange program.
- They should be specialising in Science, Technology, and Engineering.
- Students applying for this JINR Winter program must not have participated in the START program before.
