About Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub - Safeguarding in Practice Mentorship Programme

Registered civil society organisations (CSOs) in Bangladesh are invited to apply for the Safeguarding in Practice mentorship programme delivered by the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) Bangladesh. The programme is an intermediate-level capacity strengthening initiative under the RSH Bangladesh programme.

This mentorship programme is specifically designed for civil society organisations (CSOs) with existing basic knowledge of safeguarding now seeking to move from safeguarding policy to practice and have foundational systems in place, including a safeguarding policy, code of conduct, and basic complaint response mechanisms to maintain safer, more accountable workplaces and programmes, in line with national legal frameworks and international standards.

This initiative brings together CSO practitioners who want to strengthen their understanding of safeguarding and Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) and embed effective, survivor-centred approaches across their organisations.

Benefits of Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub - Safeguarding in Practice Mentorship Programme

  • An initial three-day in-person training on safeguarding essentials, designed to introduce core concepts and align terminology. It establishes a shared foundation regarding what safeguarding is, how to recognise risks, and the root causes that allow SEAH to occur. Participants gain a clear overview of the concepts and practice so they can meaningfully assess their own organisational gaps. By the end of these three days, participants are equipped to launch their mentorship, complete their capacity assessments, and prioritise realistic improvement areas.
  • A structured 8-month mentorship phase with tailored technical support
