About STDF International Cooperation Grant Program
The program prioritizes Egyptian research institutions, requiring Egyptian principal investigators to follow dual submission and eligibility procedures, while ensuring team contribution, conflict of interest management, and originality verification.
Benefits of STDF International Cooperation Grant Program
Each project can receive up to:
- 200,000 Euro
- 250,000 Euro (If the Egyptian Partner is the coordinator of the project) The amount of funding is divided into instalments, to be disbursed upon the acceptance of periodic technical and financial progress reports and it will be disbursed in the local currency (Egyptian Pounds).
STDF International Cooperation Grant Program Requirements
- Egyptian PhD holders affiliated with universities or research centres
- Applicants not currently principal investigators on more than two ongoing STDF projects or team members in three projects
- Private sector partners may participate with their own funding
