Embark on the 9th edition of SLINGSHOT, a global deep tech startup competition from Singapore to the world, and make the pitch of a lifetime in the presence of key industry leaders and a global audience of investors. We are excited for our best startups to walk away with more - bigger and better prizes for our winners this year!
Last year, more than 5,500 startups from over 150 markets participated in SLINGSHOT, with our Top 50 Global Startups joining us here in Singapore to forge connections with industry experts and key ecosystem partners. The competition culminated in the Finals held at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2024.

- Register on the platform and submit your presentation.
PHYSICAL IMMERSION: 24-25 & 27 October
- Top 60 Global Startups will immerse in Singapore’s startup ecosystem, with opportunities to meet and network with local ecosystem partners.
DOMAIN FINALS & GRAND FINALS: 29 to 31 October
- Top 60 Global Startups will pitch LIVE at SWITCH on 29 and 30 October.
- The Top 12 Global Startups will be selected to pitch at the Grand Finals on 31 October for the chance to become SLINGSHOT 2025’s Grand Winner.

SLINGSHOT 2025 - Deep tech startup pitching competition Requirements
This Competition is open and offered solely to:
- Business entities, regardless of their business area. Startups may be required, in the Organiser’s sole discretion, to provide proof of (i) company registration by submitting a registration certificate issued within the last three (3) months, or ongoing company registration/business profile, or any trade registry and proof ensuring the registration of the entity in the relevant country.
Any technology-based startups that meet the following conditions are eligible to participate:
- Develops or possesses innovation*
- Has been registered within the past 10 years in their country of registration
- Is not a subsidiary of a corporate entity
Startups participating should have the goal of incorporating in Singapore.
*Innovation refers to any one of the following:
- Develops, produces or commercialises tech products, services or platforms; OR
- Holds a patent registered with an approved national IP institution; OR
- Has an ongoing research collaboration with a research institution (contract of services is not considered to be research collaboration).
