The Golden Turtle International Wildlife Festival is an international wildlife photography competition that positions photography as a tool for conservation, education, and environmental responsibility. It invites photographers worldwide to submit authentic wildlife images created with professionalism, transparency, and strict ethical standards. The festival prioritizes animal welfare, habitat protection, and truthful visual storytelling over artistic ambition.
The Photographer of the year receives a cash prize in the equivalent of 150,000 Russian rubles, a glass trophy, a diploma, an album with all the finalists of the competition and prizes from partners.
The winners in the adult categories receive a cash prize in the equivalent of 75,000 Russian rubles, a glass trophy, a diploma, an album with all the finalists of the competition and prizes from partners.
The winners in the young categories receive a glass trophy, a diploma, an album with all the finalists of the competition and prizes from partners.
The competition is open to photographers worldwide who agree to comply with all ethical, technical, and content rules.
Eligibility restrictions include:
No images of pets or livestock
Zoo photographs are prohibited except in specific captive-animal categories with full disclosure
Maximum of 20 entries per author across all categories

Select the appropriate category for each photograph
Upload images according to technical specifications
Provide detailed descriptions for each entry, including:
Shooting conditions
Story behind the photograph
Equipment and technical parameters
Accurate species identification
