The UNESCO/China Great Wall Co-Sponsored Fellowships Programme (2026–2027) is designed to strengthen human resource development in developing countries and promote international exchange in education, culture, science, and technology.

Nationality: Must be from invited Member States.
Age & Education:
General Scholar: High school diploma, ≤45 years.
Senior Scholar: Master’s degree/associate professor, ≤50 years.
Master’s: Bachelor’s degree, ≤35 years.
Doctoral: Master’s degree, ≤40 years.
Language: English proficiency required; HSK Level 3–4 for Chinese-taught programmes.
Health: Must be in good mental and physical health.
University Admission: Candidates meeting admission requirements of Chinese universities are prioritized.

Submit documents to your National Commission by 23 January 2026.
Nomination: Only applications nominated by National Commissions are accepted.
Final Submission: National Commissions must send nominations to UNESCO by 10 February 2026.
