The United Nations Graduate Study Programme (GSP) is the longest-running educational initiative of the United Nations. It offers graduate students a structured introduction to the UN system, International Geneva, and global policymaking, with a strong academic and practical focus.

Institutional visits within International Geneva
Networking with UN officials, academics, and peers
Interactive learning focused on global governance and technology policy
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Aged 22 to 32 years at the time of the programme
Currently enrolled as a graduate student at a recognized university
Not employed full-time during the programme period
Fluent in English
Able to participate fully in an intensive, in-person seminar
The UN aims to ensure equitable gender and regional representation among selected participants.
Selection Criteria
Applicants are evaluated based on:
Academic performance
Professional, research, or extracurricular achievements
Motivation and relevance of interest in the programme theme
Quality of recommendation letter
