The University of Copenhagen Postdoc Scholarship 2026 in Denmark offers a fully funded 2.5-year position in the ethics and epistemology of algorithmic prediction of psychiatric diagnoses. This postdoc is part of the Algorithms and the Individual in Psychiatric Diagnosis project funded by Independent Research Foundation Denmark, focusing on the moral permissibility of acting on algorithmic predictions in psychiatry.The Department of Food and Resource Economics (IFRO) at the University of Copenhagen hosts this position within the Section for Consumption, Bioethics and Governance. University of Copenhagen Postdoc Scholarship Requirements

  • PhD in philosophy
  • Interest in interdisciplinary research and open mindset towards interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Good communication skills for scientific and broader audience
  • Preferably experience with topics like epistemic status of statistical evidence, epistemic injustice, right to be treated as an individual, validity of diagnostic criteria of mental disorders
  • Must be prepared for security screening related to international research collaborations
