About Vodacom External Bursary Programme

The Vodacom External Bursary Programme provides academic merit-based financial support to high-achieving South African students pursuing full-time undergraduate studies. The programme supports students in STEM fields, Business, and Commercial disciplines by covering tuition, accommodation, learning materials, living support, technology resources, and career development opportunities.The bursary is designed to help talented students access higher education while preparing them for future employment through workplace exposure and skills development.

Vodacom External Bursary Programme Requirements

• must be a South African citizen by birth
• must undertake full-time undergraduate studies in a South African tertiary institution
• must pass Grade 12 with exemption, obtaining an average of 70% or higher across all subjects
• must have obtain a minimum of 65% average or higher if in first year of tertiary and above
