The WIRES National Grants Program 2026 provides funding support for wildlife rescuers, rehabilitation organisations, environmental groups, and collaborative partnerships across Australia. The programme helps strengthen wildlife rescue capacity, improve emergency response preparedness, protect native species, restore habitats, and increase community involvement in wildlife conservation.The grants support projects that create long-term benefits for Australian wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation, education, habitat protection, and species recovery initiatives.
