Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
• Be emerging or early-career researchers
• Conduct research relevant to Asia and New Zealand interests
• Submit proposals for forward-looking, contemporary research

Retrospective funding applications are not eligible.
