Opportunity Details
Hate has gone viral. From racism and xenophobia to antisemitism, anti-Muslim bigotry, misogyny, and attacks on the LGBTQI+ community-intolerance is exploding. Fuelled by algorithms, echo chambers, apathy and fear, hate speech is spreading faster, louder, and uglier than ever before. Hate is deafening us to a point where we can't even hear each other.
While this might have become the norm, it's not normal. It's time to turn up the volume on empathy and break hate. This award goes to the ones who don't flinch-who fight hate with bold ideas, loud voices, and absolutely no apologies.
Three winners will:
- Open to all young leaders (aged 18 - 35) who are tackling hate in their communities or countries.
- They are looking for leaders who make you sit up, lean in, and pay attention - the kind who challenge the status quo not just with words, but with bold, boundary-breaking creativity. The judges from PACT! itself have short attention spans so the more original, eye-opening, and head-turning your entry, the better.
